Bio
The radio station FLY 9.59 FM Stereo started transmitting in 1990, and within a short time became the Nr.1 news station in the district of Rethymno, Crete.
This has been proven by opinion polls made by the sociological faculty of the Cretan University.
FLY FM transmits 24 hours a day.....around the clock....
Program
The lead in comparison to the competitors in general lies in the reliable impartial and fast information of the listener about topical and national events with interviews and live - reports.

Topical and national political and social events are broadcasted in the morning from 7.00 h to 12.00 h local time. After this Greek speaking foreign programs are rebroadcasted. There are exclusive contracts with Athens' and foreign stations for this service.

News is transmitted every full hour, adverts every half hour.

Technique
In its technical department FLY FM works with state-of-the-art equipment. The modern studio on own ground has finished its fresh-up to complete digitalization. The organization of programs and punctual transmitting is done by an inexpensive innovative computer program, which we co-developed ourselves and sell to others, called "That's MP3".
Fly FM was the first station bringing the RDS system to Crete.
The Muses

The entertainment program and the music shows in the afternoon and the evening hours contain about 80% Greek and Cretan music and 20% international hits.

All these programs are brought by Eleni and Poppy and well known local DJs, as by groups of young people of the region.
